Flake Epoxy
Durable, slip-resistant, and stylish. Flake epoxy combines decorative color chips with a tough epoxy base, delivering a textured surface that hides dirt and wear. Ideal for garages, shops, and commercial spaces that need both function and a polished appearance.
Flake epoxy is the most popular epoxy system in residential garages — and for good reason. The broadcast color flakes give the floor texture that improves grip when wet, the visual chaos of the flake pattern hides dirt and minor wear, and the polyaspartic topcoat seals everything into a single, washable surface.
Pure Reflection offers dozens of stock flake blends and can mix custom blends to match a brand color or home palette. Every install includes full diamond-grind concrete prep, crack repair, and a polyaspartic topcoat.

Flake Epoxy — your questions, answered
How long does flake epoxy last?
In a residential garage, 15–20+ years with light maintenance. The flake layer is locked under a clear topcoat, so the color and texture stay intact even under daily use. Re-coats can be applied if the topcoat ever wears in high-traffic areas.
Is flake epoxy slippery when wet?
Less so than smooth epoxy or polished concrete. The broadcast flakes create natural texture. For extra slip resistance — common in commercial kitchens and pool decks — we can add a fine grip additive to the topcoat.
